Surgery Time/Emma's Birthday

These are pictures of my ankle that I have to have surgery on soon. My arthritis is so bad I can hardly stand the pain any more. I went to the Dr. on Wednesday and I have absolutely no cartilage to protect my bones from rubbing together. So I have a constant bone on bone movement when I walk and it's pretty painful. I can't decide when to have the surgery because I will be in bed for about 2 weeks. They are going to fuse my bones together. I need to make a decision when soon.
The swelling isn't so bad right now. I have been doing acupuncture and that helps a lot with the swelling. Insurance doesn't cover acupuncture so I have to stop this procedure after two more treatments. After I have surgery I will continue to go to acupuncture. I hate the thoughts of having surgery!!!!
On to a more exciting happenings. EMMA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!!

Emma had about 12 little girls at her party. It was so calm. The girls were putting little pieces of material on some flip flops. Some were frustrated because they had never tied anything before. Emma learned fast.

Emma is looking so grown up. She wasn't even flitting around and talking a hundred miles an hour. She was having so much fun.

Gabe even got into the action. He was helping a little girl tie the material on her flip flops. He was pretty intense. It was the best.

These patient young ladies were waiting to have their toe nails painted. It was simply amazing how they waited their turn.

These are most of the girls that attended Emma's birthday party. In the corner are all her presents. We didn't stay to watch her open her presents but I bet she loved them all.

We spent the rest of our Saturday afternoon cleaning out our garage. It looks great. We didn't get any yard work done but everything was real muddy from all the rain and snow. We will be getting more by morning about 2 to 3 inches in the valley.
