Not much happening

It's been way to long since my last entry. I love to read all of the blogs and I forget to put something on mine. We are going to the cabin in Bear Lake this weekend. Heather, are you jealous! I would love it more if the Young Men weren't going to be there. (now maybe your not jealous.) They are going snow shoeing and I am going to love being lazy and reading a new book that I can't wait to read. It's called Hunger Games. It was recommended by a lot of people. Our book group is reading a book called Goose Girl. It was fabulous. I am not a fairy tale kind of person but this was so well written I couldn't put it down. Another book I have just finished is called Escape. It is about a women who escaped from pologamy with her 8 children. A miracle. It had my heart racing and got me angry and then humbled at how blessed I am. I need some help on how to put a place on my blog of books I have read and star the ones I especially loved. Bill just finished a book called The Kite Runner. We have watched the movie and it is a keeper. I haven't put a video on the blog for so long I can't remember how to do it. I will get my but in gear and put the dancing of the grandkids at Christmas in our basement. It's the best. Bill has been sick with headache and has been out of commission for about a week. I just finished painting the bathroom downstairs and we will attempt to put some tile on the wall and the floor. We love all of you so much and feel bad that we let so much time go by before we see each other. I would love to have a once every two months or so have a dinner with everyone. Hope all is well with everyone.

Next time I will have the video's.

New Year's Eve

Bill and I went over to Melanie and Renato's and played Wii. It was hard for me to stay up but it was a lot of fun. Some friends of Renato and Melanie came over and they had kids. Bill was very patient teaching the kids how to play games on the wii. My goals for this year is to be more fit. I want to be more grateful for the things that I have. I want to have a stronger testimony. I want to be more joyful. I love to be happy (who doesn't) so I want to do things that will make my life a happy one. I really am not very old but when I think about how many years I might have left on this earth I want it to be full of life and have fun with my grandkids!! (and my children {:) I am going to try and retire in 6 years. I will be 61 actually when I retire and I hope that I can add many adventures to my life. I want to be more in love with my husband each day. I want to be more of a support to all of my children. Life is good. {:)

Christmas continued

Emma and Kyle were laughing so hard they could hardly play. Gabe in the background
Kyle was running back and forth having a great time. Peyton is enjoying just watching him.

Lucas was playing horsey. Emma and Donovan and Julia are in background.

Here are a few pictures from Christmas, and I mean only a few because we didn't realize we weren't taking pictures! Not good.

Christmas 08

Christmas came and went quickly. When you are so busy time flies. We went to the Bucks and had a sing a long with people in our ward. The Bucks have such great voices I just loved hearing them sing. That started our two week vacation. The best is all the grand kids were here.

An Early Surprise!!!

Anthony was really tired by 3:00 so we took him home. It is now 5:40 p.m. and he is still asleep. We will go later to the hospital. Melanie just wanted to sleep. What a wonderful surprise. Melanie after birth. She was shaking like last time but she was doing well. We cried a little together. I can't believe she has two babies. Let the good times roll!!!!
Grandpa Danny with Samuel and Anthony. Anthony was not happy that grandpa was holding Samuel.

Proud Grandpa and Samuel.

Anthony is blurry but he just finished giving Samuel a kiss

Samuel is a lot like Anthony. Big hands, nose and mouth. His hair is very black.

Proud daddy and our newest addition to the grandkids. #12 Samuel had just nursed for 15 minutes before this picture.

We told Anthony that daddy was a snowman. Seconds before going in for the birth of Samuel.

Mom and dad getting ready for the birth which is in a few seconds.

This is the cap they gave Renato to put on when he went in to see the birth. Anthony wasn't happy with it on his head.

They were sitting on the bench by the window sill in Melanie's prep room.

Melanie will probably kill me for putting this picture here but that's just part of child birth.

This morning at 4:30 a.m. I received a call from Melanie saying that she was nervous about some fluid she was discharging. It was really scaring her and I told her that if she started having pains that she needed to go to the hospital. She wasn't feeling any pains so she went to bed. At 9:30 a.m. she brought Anthony over to the house because she went to the doctor to see if it was something serious. We got another call about 11:50 a.m. saying we needed to get to the hospital because we are going to have a new grandchild soon. We packed up things and got Anthony ready and to the hospital we headed. I was a little nervous because it is 5 weeks early to have the baby. We got to the hospital and the dr. was calm and everyone was calm. At about 2:00 p.m. we have little Samuel in our arms. What a weird day. He weight was 6# 10 oz. I didn't get the length. He is healthy and strong and Melanie is doing great. Samuel nursed first try. Everything seemed calmer with Samuel. He is absolutely beautiful. Anthony couldn't stop kissing him. Anthony got a concerned look on his face when Samuel started crying and all Anthony could say was "cry, cry, cry" he looked so concerned about his little brother. Here are some pictures of our interesting and exciting day.

Thanksgiving

This is Craig, Julia's friend, and Melanie looking uncomfortable. Melanie hates stuffing but she loved it today.
Renato watching Anthony using his drill. After we ate dinner.

This is Michael and Nicole his friend. She is a very nice person. She came to visit him from Rock Springs Wyoming. She had a stroke in 2003 and can't use her left side.

Two day of cooking and it last only a few minutes. It was wonderful. We had Michael's friend with us and Julia's friend for dinner. Plus we had Melanie and Renato and Anthony. Bill took a picture of my turkey it looked pretty good. I cooked it differently this year. I started on Wednesday with the turkey and the stuffing and the gravy. It was fabulous! Here are some pictures of the joyous occassion.

More Pictures

This is little miss Jordyn and Grandma Neen. A.J. is being silly. This was at Peyton's birthday party tonight.
Is he going to be an upcoming pianist! I hope so. He plays the piano like Michael used to when he was Anthony's age. Good sign.

This is Anthony watching his favorite show, Little Einsteins. He was relaxed surrounded by pillows.

Kelly is loves the series of Twilight, (if you don't you must be a boy). She can't wait till the movie comes out. I thought the movie was rated "R" but she told me tonight it was PG13. I'm going and taking Kelly with me!

Here is the little lady Peyton in her tinkerbell outfit she received from her friend that is standing next to her. I don't know her name.

These are some pictures that I love. We celebrated Peyton's birthday today at Gabe and Val's. She is so funny. She is such a grown up little child. Happy as they come.
