Samuel Fiuza 1st Birthday Party

As you can see Sammy really got into the cake. He was so cute. The Pictures in the background was a game that you could play to see which picture was his birth to 12 months. I only got 3 correct.

Sammy and his dad. He was eyeing the cake smacking his lips.

The piano was from Danny and Nikki. He loved it.

This was a ball that looked like a sea anenome. He pulled away really fast when he touched it. It was really soft.

This was a helicopter from Michael and Della. He loved it. Actually Anthony loved it more and wasn't going to share it with Sammy.

He loved ripping the paper off the presents.

Anthony let Sammy give him a kiss when his face was full of frosting. Anthony laughed

It's hard to believe he is 1 year old. Next moment will be walking!!! I can't wait.

Michael and Della official

Michael was playing with his band and Della and her mother were in town. Michael during their break had Della come up on stage and he sang to her her favorite song. "My Cup Runneth Over With Love" It was pretty cool. After the song he got on one knee and asked if she would marry him. She said, "Yes I Will." It was kinda funny it was so matter of fact. Michael started to cry a little. He is so happy.

This is Della's crazy, crazy drunk cousin. She was out of control hugging and dancing everywhere.

This is Della and her crazy cousin and mom.

Michael and Della before he proposed.

This is just another picture before he proposed singing a song to her. There was lots of family there. Danny, Nikki, Grandpa Harris and his wife Evelyn, Bill and myself, my mother, Julia, Gina and Melanie. I have a video but I have to edit it a little because it is very long. It has the song that he sang to her on it.

My future daughter-in-law

Meet Della. It's not official, but Michael is going to get her a ring at Christmas. She plays the piano is delightful. Funny and happy. She is from Casper Wyoming and comes as often as she can. Michael is miserable when she is not here. She is also blind but not total. We had dinner tonight together and she fits right in the family. Michael seem so happy. We will have a dinner with as many that can come so you can meet her.

A Wonderful Sunday

I love it when Michael comes over because he plays the piano. It rarely gets played. I thought I would record this song because it was Della's favorite song by him. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Pumpkins "Grose"

Anthony loved the pumpkins at the store and when we brought them home to carve them it was a different story. When he saw inside he said, "really grose". He wouldn't touch it but loved watching.

Inpatience never gets you anywhere.

I was on one of my cleaning binges this morning because mice have invaded our storeroom where our food storage is again. So I took everything out and cleaned and put stuff back in. There was a big pile for D.I. and Bill took it to the D.I. and was gone for a very long time. I didn't take that very well. He finally came home and didn't tell me where he had went. I went downstairs to finish what I had been doing and he was upstairs doing something for another long time. When I came upstairs he was watching T.V. and I got really mad. I went outside and did some things to cool off. I pray every morning and night that I will curb my anger and learn patience and kind ways to say things. Well that went out the window. While I was outside he went downstairs to work on the bathroom. I came in from outside and did a few m0re things downstairs and apologized for being mad. He said, "you were mad?" Duh. He was being very nice. I came back upstairs and went into the computer room to rest my back and guess what was there!!!! He bought be a new monitor for my computer. A big one so that I didn't have to get so close to see it. I felt like the biggest stupid head!!! I went downstairs and really told him I was sorry and I said now I know where you were at all this time. You were thinking of me and I was too busy being mad. He just said in a very kind way that I was like my mom in that respect. I guess I'd better change my ways and really work harder on my prayers. I should have listened to the spirit that told me not to get mad, but I let anger get the best of me. What a lesson that I hope I learn to do better in the future. I have a wonderful husband

1st week almost down

School started for me on Monday. As always it has flown by. I feel like I'm in a frenzy to get things done but then I just have to say it's not that important and can relax. My 7th graders this year are fabulous. They clean up without asking. Line up at the door and wait for me. They are always helping other students without asking. Sometimes I have to pinch myself and ask if I am dreaming. Last year was so hard with students that were past high maintenance. I was exhausted every day. This year I have so far only had to tell the students to be quiet once and they do!!!!!

We just heard that a friend of ours has passed on this morning after being diagnosed with stomach cancer. She found out on July 24th. It was so quick.

Also, we received a phone call from Richard, Bill's brother, that Marilyn was in the hospital to get her thyroid taken out and they found that the lumps she was concerned about were cancerous. She will go through a little chemo but the Dr. has said this is a very curable cancer. I hope he is right.

And life goes on.........I am grateful for the joys that fill my life and help me to stop and look at the roses.

California

I will next to our trip to California on the 5th of June. I get so tired of being on the computer it hurts my eyes. We went to Phoenix to go to Charlie Kingstons funeral that was the end of July. We were actually there on July 24th. It was weird that there was no celebration. I went to Portland on the 8th of August to the 15th. But I didn't take any pictures. It was fabulous.

Georgia here we come!

This is a place where there are one on just about every corner in Georgia. It is a greasy spoon but we love eating breakfast here.

A mansion where thekids ran down the hill it was huge.
This was at a place that showed lots of Olympic things. This is the stand where the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners would stand.

Chris and Annie's new house. Not as much acreage as they were used to but the yard is very large and still lots of trees.

Sorry Idon't know how to put the pictures in order if I make them be out of order. I guess I need to learn some more about blogging. Heather!!!!!!! help. Stairs leading up to the mansion. The grass that the kids ran down is just in front of them.

Same mansion looking opposite of the previous pictures.

When we got out of the coca cola place on the grass they had games that the kids could play. Donovan adn Lucas are having a bag race. Chris is just to the left.

We could taste all kinds of drinks around the world at the coca cola place. You received a free coca cola bottle. Lucas is holding his.

CNN was amazing. This is everyone except me in front of the building of CNN

This is the exercise room at the Olympic museum. this is Lucas upside down.

Annie and Madi are trying their strength at one of the machines

This is a huge excalator that took us up several stories inside the CNN building. It was a little scary but not too bad.

Waffle house again.

Donovan and lucas racing again

This is at the coca cola museum I was in a wheel chair

Just inside the CNN building. This was a mosiac of thousands of stories that CNN has done over the years. It was pretty fascinating.

At the end of the coca cola tour of course you ended up in a store. Chris was the lucky one to push me around.

Jump roping was one of the games you could do. Go Lucas and Chris

Madi was really going fast. It was funny how this picture turned out.

Eating at Waffle house. Me and Lucas and Madi are just to Annie's left.

Annie was doing something. I can't tell what? Ha.

We left for Georgia on the 8th of July and returned on the 15th. We saw Chris and Annie's new house. It was fabulous. They had done a lot of work on it and the kids loved their rooms. They had chosen their colors in their rooms and they we so pretty. I loved Chris and Annie's colors in their room. Gee, they even have their own room with their own bathroom. Lovely. Here are a few pictures of the great time we had there.
